How to make homemade cream using cocoa butter

Cocoa butter, also known as theobroma oil, is a vegetable fat component extracted from cacao beans. Pale yellow in color, cocoa butter melts only in body temperature and hence remains stable at room temperature. Cocoa butter helps nourish the skin again and makes it look healthy and good. It enhances the production of skin collagen, which is the most important factor that makes the skin elastic. With cocoa butter, you can lower your cholesterol and even protect against cancer.

The best part of this is, cocoa butter cream can be homemade. You can use your regular kitchen ingredients and make cocoa butter right from the convenience of your home. The process is pretty simple and may require a few things:

  • Cocoa Butter
  • Grape Seed Oil
  • Orange Blossom Oil / Aloe Vera gel
  • Non-Petroleum Jelly
  • Homemade Cream For Cellulite

Process:

1. Get the ingredients ready: Important. Get ready all the utensils you may need for the process also. Ensure that all these ingredients are raw and not processed much. Even if you go for processed items, ensure that they don’t contain many chemicals.

2. Start mixing: Take cocoa butter in a round bottom vessel and mix Grape Seed oil and Non-Petroleum jelly. Mix and stir well.

3. Heat in double-boiler: Put that vessel in a double boiler and heat the contents. When the mixture starts to melt, remove it from the flame and stir gently again.

4. Add Blossom Orange Oil/Aloe Vera gel to the mixture. Add lavender, rosemary, lemon grass or eucalyptus oils if you can.

5. Let the mixture cool down. After cooling, you can use it as your homemade cellulite cream. Store it in an air tight container. Refrigerate it for 5 to 6 hours before using the first time. This will make it more beneficial and healthy on the skin.
